Not just an apple tray

You may remember the tragic Port Hills fire in Christchurch in February 2017 which was officially declared extinguished after 66 days having destroyed 1645 hectares of land.Hawk were contacted by the Christchurch City Council to supply our trays for the post fire volunteer replanting.  You will see in the pictures below sent to us by the Christchurch City Council how they trays are used to assist in the replanting process.  The moulded fibre tray acts as a weed mat ...

Introducing Hawk Team - Stu and Anthony

Stu Menzies (right) is our Plant Manager – his priority is to keep the Hawk plant running 24 hours – 7 days a week.  Technology such as sensors, tablets and smart phones enable Stu to monitor the plant from off site.Anthony Tattersall (left) is our Technical Manager, who ensures that each product type ‘recipe’ is perfect.  Anthony manages our onsite laboratory and controlled testing, and has over 20 years of pulp and paper manufacturing experience....
